Jeff and his wife Leslie purchased Gus’ in 1999

Jeff’s favorite ride is the Saturday shop ride because of the fellowship found among the riders and the community it brings together.

His favorite bike is currently the Felt VR due to the bikes versatility. By switching out tires, Jeff has used the VR on fast shop rides, gravel and bike tours.

Jeff serves the cycling community in the following ways:

  • Board member of the New Hampshire Seacoast Greenway.   This group is working with the State and local communities to convert the Hampton Branch rail line into a rail trail.  This will link into the rail trail coming north from Newburyport through Seabrook, Hampton Falls, Hampton, North Hampton, Rye, Greenland and into Portsmouth.
  • Founding member of North Hampton Trails a non-profit incorporated to work with the Town of North Hampton when the Hampton Branch is converted into a rail trail.
  • Developed the Seacoast Trails group as a project of SABR.  Focused on creating trails that will link into the future rail trail on the Seacoast.
  • Founding member of the Granite State Rail Trail with the goal of creating an across state trail from Salem to Lebanon.
  • Sponsoring Orchard Cross cyclocross race
  • Served two terms on the New Hampshire Department of Transportation Complete Streets Advisory Committee as appointed by the Commissioner.
  • Served on the board of Seacoast Area Bicycle Riders for several terms.
